Coroner
The Coroner’s Office is a government or judicial office that is empowered to conduct or order an inquest into the manner or cause of death, and to investigate or confirm the identity of an unknown person who has been found dead within the coroner's jurisdiction. The office also focuses on community outreach to educate on preventable deaths. The office is ran by the Coroner, who is an elected official. The remaining office staff are a Coroner appointed Chief Deputy and Coroner appointed Deputies.
